Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss

In honor of Dr. Seuss we read some of his books, ate green eggs and ham for dinner and wrote some poems.
I separated the egg yolks from the whites, dyed the yolks then added them back in once i put the whites in the pan.
The littles are making the yuck face.
Aiden's rhyming poem
Bartholomew Goes to School

Bartholomew rides a mule to go to school
He learned the rule to stay cool
They stood on a stool in a pool
There was a duel, a great duel
He fooled the mule then won the duel
There was a jewel for winning the duel
Made a tool out of wood and called it his cokule.

Gavin's story
A Birthday for Agga

We begin our saga for Agga
He went for a ride and saw a ghost
He like to eat buttered toast
An owl, rattle snake and dragon were there
Right behind him
There was a lady bug, no, two lady bugs
that were on his rug
They crawled up his back.

  1. I love it! We did the same thing but the opposite way (the whites were green!). Cute poems.
